Patty Lou Osgood

Patty Lou (Schmitz) Osgood, age 98, of St. Ansgar, Iowa, passed to be with the Lord and join her deceased husband, Robert (Dean) Osgood, of 75 years on Tuesday, March 4, 2025. Patty was born to Glen and Ameret (Winey) Schmitz in Mankato, Minnesota on October 19, 1926; one of 12 children. She is survived by four children: Thilieu (Jerry) Dreessen, Tom Osgood, Dan (Pam) Osgood, Jon (Dawn) Osgood; sister, Coralee Johnson; nine grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. She will always be remembered as an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Her home was always a welcoming place for family and friends to gather for fun, games and one of her famous baked treats. Her true kindness and humor was evident in everything she did. She had a way of making everyone feel special and loved. Patty was a blessing for all who knew her. May we carry forward her kindness and love, sharing it with the world to honor her memory. She will be truly missed.
