Glenn Lee Van Sabben

Glenn Lee Van Sabben, 18, of Northwood, Iowa passed away at his home on January 6, 2021. Glenn was born on December 12, 2002 in Mason City, Iowa, the son of Michael and Amy. Waiting at home was his big sister Taylor. Glenn was a senior at Northwood-Kensett High School. During his short time here, Glenn made an impression on so many people. He had a way to make you smile. Glenn always wanted to be there for everyone that he knew. Glenn enjoyed working on tractors, farming, building derby cars, and tinkering with anything he could get his hands on. Glenn wanted to go onto a welding career. Those thankful for sharing his life and are truly going to miss him are his: parents, Michael (Theresa) Van Sabben of Northwood and Amy Hoffman (Robert Rice) of Kiester, MN; sister, Taylor (Dalton) of Rochester, MN; step siblings, Alex, Madison, and Peyton; nephew, Delsin; grandparents, Ellen Van Sabben of Northwood and Marvin and Carol Hoffman of Stewartville; roommate and good friend, Brody Branstad; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Glenn is talking to his grandpa Jon about tractors, who preceded him in death.
