Linda Jean Demaris

Linda Jean DeMaris, age 67, of St. Ansgar, Iowa, passed away on February 10, 2025, at the Good Samaritan Center in St. Ansgar, Iowa, after a short battle with cancer. Linda was born on February 5, 1958, the daughter of Wayne and Beverly (Rawn) DeMaris. She graduated from St. Ansgar High School in 1978.

 Linda worked at Bremer pizza in Osage for many years and then at the Faith Lutheran Home in Osage. Linda enjoyed watching many sports on TV and listening to the Minnesota Twins on her transistor radio. Her favorite team though, was the St. Ansgar Saints. Her favorite players were her many nieces and nephews. She enjoyed watching and hearing all about their many activities. Linda loved reading westerns, coloring, cross stitching and listening to Elvis.

 Linda is survived by her brothers, Alan (Joni) DeMaris, St. Ansgar, Michael (Kelley) DeMaris, Ankeny; sister, Julie Hansen, Albert Lea, MN; and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her father Wayne DeMaris and her mother Beverly DeMaris who passed away on February 20, 2025.

 A private burial will be held at a later date.
