Thomas Edward Rogers

Thomas E. Rogers, age 75, formerly of Osage, Iowa, passed away on Thursday, November 14, 2024, at the Stacyville Community Nursing Home. Tom was born on Christmas Day, 1949, to Bernard and Zita (Volney) Rogers, and was raised with his sister Marlys on a farm north of Osage. He graduated from Osage High School in 1968 and resided in Osage most of his life. Tom was an avid baseball fan, especially following his beloved Minnesota Twins. Tom is preceded in death by his parents, and most recently his sister Marlys. He appreciated her faithful visits and very much missed her when she was gone. The family would like to thank the staff at Stacyville Community Nursing Home and especially Kayla Benttine for caring for Tom. A funeral mass will be held on December 6, 20224, at 11:00 a.m., at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Osage, Iowa. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery.
