Sue Warburton, 56, of Northwood, died Wednesday, December 2, 2020, at her home in Northwood. Private Family Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 9, 2020, at Champion Funeral Home in Osage, with Pastor Bruce Kaltwasser officiating. Burial will take place at a later date. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. To 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at Champion Funeral Home. Due to COVID-19, face masks are required at all services and only 15 people will be allowed in the building at a time for the visitation, please plan accordingly. Sue was born April 10, 1964, in Cresco, Iowa, the daughter of Vern and Alta (Anderson) VanHooser. She graduated from Nora Springs High School in 1982. Sue married Doug Warburton on November 6, 1982, at the Little Brown Church in Nashua. She worked as an CNA, for many years. Sue enjoyed camping, trips with her siblings, Bingo, casino trips with friends and spending time with her grandchildren. Sue is survived by her husband, Doug of Northwood; her children, Adam Warburton and girlfriend, Saylor Belz of Osage and Megan (Andy) Flugge, of Riceville; four grandchildren, Evelyn Flugge, Kegun Warburton, Hunter DeRuyter, Emmalynn Warburton and Baby Boy due in February; siblings, Carol (Craig) Mennenga of Osage, Beverly Wiseman of Sheffield an Mike (Iva)) VanHooser of Nora Springs; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Pat VanHooser.
