Betty M. Rosenberg

Betty M. Rosenberg, age 89, of St. Ansgar, Iowa, passed away on Thursday, October 17, 2024, at the Good Samaritan in St. Ansgar, Iowa. Betty was born on December 20, 1934, the daughter of August and Lillian (Virchow) Bork. She married the love of her life Gene Rosenberg on April 23, 1954, from this union they had 70 wonderful years of marriage and were blessed with three children Sherri, Mari, and Perry. Betty was a lifelong farm wife who found joy in the simple pleasures of sewing, baking delicious treats, and nurturing her flower and vegetable gardens. She also worked at Fieldstone Cabinetry for 15 years until her retirement in 1966. Her memory will be cherished by all who knew her. Betty is survived by her daughters, Sherri Hughes of Forest City, IA, Mari of Clear Lake, IA; nephews, Daryl (Linda) Stelter of Lake Mills, IA, Dennis (Marilyn) Concord of California; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Gene Rosenberg, her parents August and Lillian Bork, and her son Perry. A private graveside burial will be held on Monday, October 21, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at the Grafton Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to Sherri Hughes at 37483 180th Ave. Forest City, Iowa, 50436.
