Lisa Ann Haskins, sadly passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 7, 2024 in her home at the age of 61. She was a wonderful mother who was always there when they needed her the most, offering support, understanding, and love in abundance. Lisa was born in Chicago Heights, Illinois on October 18, 1962, to Robert Frank and Nancy Ann (Huber) Miller. In 1981, she graduated from Gillman High School in Gillman, Illinois. Lisa and her former spouse, Richard Haskins had three children together who they adored. She later married Doug Kleckner and they blended their families for nine years. Lisa worked in sales and communication, catering and other various jobs while raising her three children. She was always known for her amazing meals and cooking. Most recently, she had a passion for raising Golden Doodles and was known for her love of dogs. Lisa valued caring for people and animals of all kinds in any way she could. She was a sports fan, especially when it came to cheering on her grandkids, nieces, and nephews in their events. She was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Nancy Miller; and her brother, Robert Michael Miller. Lisa will be greatly missed by her children, Keith (Jennifer) Haskins of New Bern, North Carolina, Kendall (Jeff) Leonard of Carmel, California; Cathy (Eric) Tesch of St. Ansgar, Iowa; grandchildren, Kensleigh Haskins, Abby Leonard, Aidan Leonard, Alina Leonard, Seth Shotts, and Mason Ball; her sister, Jennifer (Michael) Solis of Maplewood, Minnesota, and dog companion, Ruby, along with countless friends and family who felt her warmth and generosity. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday October 18, 2024, at First Lutheran Church in St. Ansgar, Iowa. Visitation will take place two hours prior to the service at the church.
