Dennis Brooker

Dennis (Denny) Brooker, age 74, of Osage, Iowa, passed away on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at Good Sheppard Nursing Home in Mason City, Iowa. Denny was born on July 5th, 1950, to Dean and Maureen (Comisky) Brooker. He graduated from Osage High School in 1969. Denny enlisted and served in the Airforce during the Vietnam War. He later tied the knot with the love of his life, Beverly Piatt, on August 14, 1971, in Phoenix, AZ. Some of Denny’s passions included camping, fishing, golf, and spending time with his loved ones. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Denny is survived by his wife, Bev (Piatt) Brooker; children, David (Wendy) Brooker, Micki (Randy) McIntyre, Jenny (Jason) Krebsbach; grandchildren, Jesse, Alexa, and Jaye Brooker, Austin Cole, Garrett (Veronica) Cole, Carriannah Galster, Ainsley Brooker, Chole, Maegan, Jake, Annika, and Cy Krebsbach; great-grandchildren, Benjamin and Lilah Cole; siblings, Deke (Bev) Brooker, Sandi (Roger) Osheim, Linda (Dave) Wetter, Betty Smith, Nancy (Mark) Milbrandt; brother-in-law, Steve (Kim) Piatt; sisters-in-law, Carolyn (Gary) Chaney, Phyllis (Terry) Ruehlow, along with many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. A Celebration of Life will be held on September 7, 2024, at Champion Funeral Home in Osage, Iowa, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Champion Funeral Home of Osage is assisting the family with arrangements.
