Ann Kienzle

Ann Kienzle, age 69, of Riceville, Iowa, passed away on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, at the Osage Rehabilitation Health Care Center in Osage, Iowa. Ann was born on March 7, 1955, in Osage, Iowa to Charles and Neva Hungerford. Ann graduated with a degree in nursing from RCTC in Rochester Minnesota in association with Mayo Clinic. Ann worked as a registered nurse in Phoenix, Arizona until moving back home to help with the care of her parents. She continued her RN career at the Stacyville Nursing Home in Stacyville, Iowa. She enjoyed being a caregiver. Ann was a caring, self-sufficient and independent person. She also had a love for all dogs and cats. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Neva Hungerford, brother, Mark Hungerford, sister, Mary Mackelprang, and nephew Jared Hungerford. Ann is survived by brothers, Tim Hungerford, Todd (Tina) Hungerford; nieces and nephews, Jennifer Hungerford, Nikki Adams, Shane Mackelprang, Samatha Mackelprang, and Gavin Hungerford. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Humane Society, which Ann supported. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, July 8, 2024, at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Osage, with Father Ray Burkle officiating. Champion Funeral Home of Osage is assisting the family with arrangements.
