Robert Gene Riker

Robert “Bob” Gene Riker, age 47, of Osage, Iowa, passed away on Monday, June 10, 2024, at his home in Osage. Bob was born on February 11, 1977, in Osage, Iowa, to Robert E. and Linda (Somber) Riker. He attended Osage High School and went on to work for Mon-Ray, Inc. of Osage. Bob married the love of his life, Elizabeth Werner, on September 4, 1999, at the Baptist Church in Osage. Bob enjoyed putting car models together, and building and fixing guitars. He loved fishing and anything outdoors, and spending quality time with Elizabeth, his dog Ladybug, and close friends. Bob also enjoyed going thrifting at stores and checking out garage sales. He will be greatly missed. Bob is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Riker of Osage; mother, Linda Riker of Osage; and brothers, Ed Riker of Osage, and Dan Riker of Des Moines. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert E. Riker; his maternal and paternal grandparents; and many aunts and uncles. A celebration of Bob’s life will be held from 1:00-3:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at Champion Funeral Home in Osage. Champion Funeral Home of Osage is assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to his wife Elizabeth Riker.
