Charles "Chuck" Grimm

Charles “Chuck” Grimm, 71, of Mitchell, IA passed away on Friday, December 22, 2023 at his home surrounded by his family. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 30, 2023, at Faith Lutheran Church Mitchell, Iowa with Pastor Joel Nye officiating. Inurnment will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery at a later date. A visitation gathering with friends and family will be from 4:00-6:00 p.m. Friday, December 29, 2023, at Champion Funeral in Osage Chuck was born in Hayfield, Minnesota on August 21, 1952 to John and Norma (Stanton) Grimm. He attended school in Mitchell, and graduated from Osage High School in 1971.Chuck served his country in the United States Army. He was united in marriage to Jackie Adams on June 26, 1971 at Faith Lutheran Church in Mitchell. Chuck was part owner of Cloverleaf Construction for over 30 years retiring in 2014. He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church .Chuck enjoyed NASCAR, fishing and working with his hands. He loved spending time with family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Jackie Grimm of Mitchell; children, Cory (Jennifer) Grimm of Galesburg, Illinois, Heather (Glen) Wright of Osage and Adam (Adia) Grimm of West Des Moines; grandchildren, Brody Wright, Dalton Wright, Zoey Tucker, Logan Grimm, Ellie Grimm and Isaiah Grimm. He is also survived by sisters, Marge Olson of Lake Mills and Shirley (Dick) Frank of Forest City, and 4 half brothers and sisters, and many nieces and nephews.
