Delores Catherine Hemann, age 94 , of Osage, died Wednesday, November 22, 2023, at Faith Lutheran Home in Osage. . Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, November 28, 2023, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Osage with Father Raymond Burkle officiating. Burial will at Sacred Heart Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Osage with a rosary at 3:45 p.m. Delores was born April 28, 1929, in New Haven, Iowa, the daughter of Leon and Catherine (Elgas) Dostart. She graduated from St. Mary’s Academy in 1947. Delores married Sylvester “Sy” Hemann on June 1, 1949, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in New Haven. She worked for Sacred Heart hot lunch program, Faith Home, Osage Rehabilitation and Health Care Center and Fox River Mills, all in Osage. Delores was a member of Sacred Heart Church and Sacred Heart Guild. Delores is survived by her children, Daniel (Nancy) Hemann of Parkersburg, Debra (John) Felton of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Lynn (Rhonda) Hemann of Osage, Douglas (Crystal) Hemann of Grundy Center and Timothy (Denise) Hemann of Marshalltown; 16 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Sylvester “Sy” Hemann in 2001; daughter, Marlys Ferry; son, Gary Lee Hemann; son-in-law, C.
