Janet Louise Putnam 75, of Osage died Thursday, June 22, 2023, at Mitchell County Regional Health Center in Osage Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 28, 2023 at Osage Alliance Family Life Center in Osage with Pastor Gary Gilbert officiating. Burial will follow at Osage Cemetery. Janet was born August 17, 1947 in Osage to Wesley and Eloise (Morrison) Ryan. She attended Osage Schools graduating in 1965. On September 21, 1974 she was united in marriage to Kenneth Putnam at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church. Janet worked at Fox River Mills and Milkhouse Candles. She was a member of Osage Legion and V.F.W. Auxiliaries. Janet enjoyed playing Bingo, bowling, reading and trips to the Casino. She is survived by her husband Kenneth of Osage, siblings, Wayne Ryan of Mason City, Delmar (Mary) Ryan of Eldridge, Ronald Ryan of Osage, Donald Ryan of Princeton, IL and Joyce Badker of Manly; sisters in law, Kathy (Mike) Tosel and Darla (Craig) DeForest; brothers in law, Duane (Alice) Putnam and Derrel (Nancy) Putnam and many nieces and nephews.
