John Wesley Duryee

John Wesley Duryee of Little Cedar, passed away in his home on Sunday, June 11, 2023 at the age of 55. Celebration of life to be held Friday evening, June 16, 2023 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Paul Duryee’s home in Little Cedar for family and friends. John was born January 9, 1968 in Charles City, IA. The son of Wayne and Marian Duryee. John graduated from Osage High School in 1986. He then served our country in the Army Reserve for a number of years. John went to work for Fox River Mills where he worked for many years. John enjoyed hunting and fishing, beer and wine making, as well as grilling and smoking various meats. This brought him great joy to share with his family and friends. John is survived by his mother, Marian Duryee of Osage; brothers Mike Duryee (Annette) of Cresco, Paul Duryee of Little Cedar; sisters Leslie Duryee of Little Cedar, Christine Huffman (Brian) of Little Cedar, Laurie Duryee of Cape Coral, FL and many nieces and nephews. He was proceeded in death by his father Wayne Duryee of Little Cedar; brother Brian Duryee of Northwood, and several nieces and nephews. Champion Funeral Home 641-732-3706
