Maurice Juenger

Maurice “Mo” Juenger passed away peacefully at his home on May 28, 2023 at the age of 62. Mo was born January 31, 1961 and graduated from St. Ansgar High School in 1979. Mo married Marie Deal in 1981 and together they raised five children. Mo was a hard worker, laboring 25 years for LR Falk Construction Company as an Operator. In his younger years Mo enjoyed playing softball, bowling, hunting and fishing. In his later years Mo enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and volunteering with the Three Rivers Pony Express Riders. Many of his favorite memories were made with friends in South Dakota. Mo was a social man and a small town favorite. He loved his family, and he will be missed. Mo was proceeded in death by his parents, Francis and Veronica (Mullenbauch) Juenger, beloved wife Marie (Deal) Juenger, daughter Ellena (Juenger) Young, nephew Tim Juenger, and several aunts and uncles. Mo is survived by his: children, Donnie (Amanda) Juenger, Toleka Juenger, Noah Juenger, Nathan Juenger; grandchildren, Alex and Jacob Rivera, Keandra Ingram, Autumn Young, Degan and Josephine Juenger; bonus grandkids, Michael and Gabriel Tschida; brother, Marvin (Jane) Juenger; sister, Jeanette (Duane) Losee. Visitation will be Friday, June 2 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Schroeder Funeral Homes in St. Ansgar. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 3 at Visitation Catholic Church in Stacyville, IA with with Father Raymond Burkle officiating and a light lunch served.
