Michael Dean Hedrick

Michael Dean Hedrick was born May 21, 1961, in Mason City, Iowa, the son of Paul and Shirley (Rood) Hedrick. Michael graduated from Mason City High School in 1981 and then attended NIACC and received an Associates of Arts Degree. Michael was employed at the Globe Gazette, Alexander Manufacturing, Graham Manufacturing and A to Z Drying. On April 9, 2000, he married Mary Ann Denekas and they made their home in Osage. They enjoyed walking trails, traveling to Europe, Hawaii, Mexico and many places in the United States with Disney World being a favorite place. Scrabble games were a Sunday afternoon tradition. TV trivia was a passion, he cataloged lots of facts in an old library card catalog. Michael is survived by Mary Ann Marreel; his mother, Shirley Hedrick; Aunt Lavina and Anthony Brass, Aunt Janet and Chuck Cooper, Aunt Eleanor and Ralph McEachran and Aunt Lorretta and Duane Bennett.
