Uva Grace McKee, 94, of Osage went to be with the Lord on Monday, January 30, 2023, at the Osage Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Osage. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday February 4, 2023, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Osage with Pastor Cindy S. Krause officiating. Burial will be at the Osage Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, February 3, 2023, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Osage. Uva was born March 25,1928, in Rockwell, Iowa, the daughter of Fred and Elizabeth (Schmidt) Snook. Uva attended school in Little Cedar. On May 14, 1945, she married Verle McKee in Osage. Uva worked many jobs but of most all being a farmwife and mother. She belonged to the Orchard Congregational Church where see was very instrumental in the church’s God’s Portions and later became a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Osage. Uva enjoyed camping, gardening, baking, canning, cooking. Playing cards especially, 500 and Bridge, trips to the casinos but the love of her life was her family. Uva and Bud traveled south and to other places of interest for the winter. Uva is survived by two daughters, Sandra (Dick) Wittkamp of Alexandria, Minnesota, and Lori (John) Chrencik of Hanlontown; three sons, Darrell (Brenda) McKee of Osage, Jack (Marcia) McKee of Floyd and Michael McKee of Deadwood, South Dakota; grandchildren, Rick Wittkamp, Brian (Denise) Wittkamp, Christopher (Lori) Wittkamp, Lindsay (Grant) Chrencik, Courtney (Mark) Brodersen Taylor (Cody) Staudt, Shelby Kloberdanz, David (Abigail) Kloberdanz and Nicholas (Cheire) Kloberdanz; great-grandchildren, Addison, Mitchell and Tyler Wittkamp; Ezra and Astrid Thompson; Logann and Blake Brodersen; Henry and Charlee Staudt; Kinsey, Kylee, Aidyn and Sophie Kline; Joslyn, John, Katelynn, Bailey and Jenna Kloberdanz; a sister-in-law, Phyllis Krones, of Osage and cousin, Herb (Barb) Boothroyd and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Verle “Bud” McKee in 2009; siblings, Leonard (Elizabeth) Snook and , Eileene (Emil) Gerbitz; brothers and sisters-in-law, Art (Audrey) Altick, Stanley Krones.
