Donald Dean Hinders

Donald Hinders, 82 of Osage, Iowa died early Tuesday afternoon on November 29, 2022, at his home surrounded by family. A Celebration of Life will be held in the spring of 2023. Donald Hinders was born March 1, 1940, in Rockford, Iowa, the son of Clarence and Lena (Arends) Hinders. Don attended school in Floyd. He was united in marriage to Gloria Mills on April 17, 1965, in LeGrand, Iowa. Don worked for Nack and Associates as a millwright. He raised his family in the Osage area. Don enjoyed farming, collecting tractors, watching WWE wrestling, trips to Branson, Missouri, attending Country Fest in Cadott, Wisconsin, and spending time with family. Don will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Don is survived by his wife, Gloria Hinders of Osage; children, Mark (Rose) Hinders of Mitchel, Lynn (Sherry) Hinders of Osage, Rodney (Steph Flugge) Hinders of Osage, Julie (Robert) Badker of Osage and Pam Wyborny of Mason City; 23 grandchildren; 42 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren; two sisters, Betty “Jean” (Bill) Carter of St. Paul, Minnesota, and Janice Grummer of Ventura.
