Beverly Darlene Estes

Beverly Darlene Estes (Severtson) was born on July 18, 1933 in Albert Lea, MN to Carl and Ruby Severtson. She quietly departed this life while at home on August 29, 2022 with loved ones nearby. Throughout her life Beverly was blessed with 7 children that she loved. Creating memories throughout the years anyone who met her knew of her moxie, sass, stubbornness and honesty; Beverly was a lady with a backbone, even if she was only just over 5 feet tall. In 1958 Beverly was united in holy matrimony to Maynard Estes on December 28, in Charles City IA. In 1986 her and Maynard bought Albert Lea Tractor Parts where they spent many years growing the business until it sold in 2005. Beverly enjoyed her farm, classic country music, drinking coffee with her trusted lap dog(s) while watching the wildlife in her yard and spending time with family. She also enjoyed keeping in touch sending letters, cards and sharing phone calls with her longtime friend Barbara Hovland. Her life will forever be cherished by her surviving: brother, Larry Severtson; sister-in-law, Ruth Ann Severtson; her children, Marilyn (Gene) Gentz, David (Earleen) Estes, Nancy (Dennis) Sanoski, Allen Estes (Special Friend Renee Rodeski); many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Beverly is proceeded in death by her: parents, Carl and Ruby Severtson; husband, Maynard Estes; brother, Ross Severtson; daughters, Darlene Tomlinson, Bonnie (Richard) Brevig; and grandson, Matthew Estes-Walter.
