Jodi Bolinger

Jodi Ann Braden, Bolinger, 63, of Osage, IA, passed away Sunday, July 24th, 2022, at the Mitchell County Regional Health Center in Osage, IA. Jodi is the daughter of Clark E. and Virginia Braden. She was born on March 7th, 1960 in Austin, MN. There, Jodi attended school and graduated from Austin High School in 1978. She continued her education at Austin Community College, graduating with an AA degree. In May of 2010 Jodi was united in marriage to Rich Bolinger, of Albert Lea, MN, where they made their home. Rich passed away in 2016. Jodi remained in Albert Lea until May of 2021, when she then moved to Osage, IA. Jodi loved her family and diverse friends. She also had a love for nature and sitting in her front yard, waiting for the neighborhood dogs to be walked by her house so she could give them a treat! These dogs would pull their owners up the sidewalk to Jodi to be sure that they got their treat they knew Jodi had for them! Jodi had a lovely singing voice, was quite artistic, and enjoyed playing her guitar. Survivors include her mom, Virginia Braden of St. Petersburg, Florida, her brother Richard P. Braden of Cleveland, OH, her niece Sarah Braden of New York, and best friend Kim Koster of St. Ansgar, IA. Jodi was preceded in death by her husband, Rich Bolinger, her father Clark E. Braden, and grandparents. Jodi was a very wonderful person. Blessed be her memory. Fly high with the angels Jodi.
