William C. Schulz

William C. Schulz, 88, of Osage, died June 9, 2022 at the Faith Lutheran Home in Osage. A private family grave side service will take place at St. Ansgar Cemetery with Pastor Bryan Odeen officiating. Military Honors conducted by St. Ansgar American Legion Post William was born December 4, 1933 at home in Mitchell County the son of Harrison and Alice (Lindley) Schulz. He graduated from St. Ansgar High School in 1953.He served In the United States Navy from 1956 to 1957. He was united in marriage to Bernice Overfelt on October 3, 1962, in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. He worked for Oliver/White Farm Equipment from 1955 to 1993. William bought a farm in 1988 and lived there after retirement. His hobbies included coins, guns and Charolais cattle. William is survived by his siblings, Galen (Audrey) Schulz of St. Ansgar, Gerold (Harriet) Schulz of St. Ansgar, Delbert (Kathy) Schulz of Warrenville, Illinois, Joelene (Richard) Beebe of Hurst, Texas, Phyllis (Verne) Burque of Burnsville, Minnesota and Lois (Eric) Winger of Spirit Lake and nephews who loved him dearly. He is preceded in death by: his parents; and his wife, Bernice on April 13, 2020.
