Brian David Duren

Brian David Duren, 58, of Stacyville, died Thursday, October 29, 2020 at the Mitchell County Regional Health Center in Osage. A private graveside service will take place at Visitation Cemetery. Brian was born on August 28, 1962 to Joseph and Violet (Wilde) Duren in Osage, Iowa. He attended St. Ansgar High School and graduated in 1983. Brian enjoyed taking care of animals, especially racoon, fish and horses. He enjoyed going back and forth with his uncles, nieces and nephews. He also enjoyed fishing. Brian is survived by his: mother, Violet Duren; brother, Mark (Linda) Duren; nephews, Shawn (Shelly) Duren and Allen (Krystal) Duren; 4 great nieces and nephews, Caitlyn, Tyler, Corbin and Maci; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Brian is preceded in death by his: father, Joseph Duren; brother, Todd Duren; maternal grandparents, Arthur and Leola Wilde; paternal grandparents, John and Mary Duren.
