Sandra Kay Moretz

Sandra was born in Mason City, Iowa on April 24, 1945 to Nels A. and Hannah (Clayton) Gordon. She attended school in Carpenter and graduated from St. Ansgar High School. After high school she attended beautician school. Sandy and her husband, Richard ”Richie” Moretz were married on May 6, 1966. To this union three boys were born, Wade, Doug and Mark. Through the years Sandy and Richie moved from Iowa to Minnesota to Wisconsin. And raised their family in Wisconsin. Sandy was a homemaker, while working part time in a plastics factory. She enjoyed the outdoors of Wisconsin. After Richie retired they purchased a motor home and traveled. Their travels caused them to purchase a home in Arizona where they spent the winters. Sandy in survived by her: sons, Wade (Katie), Doug (Susan), and Mark (Sheila); grandchildren, Stetson Moretz, Abigail and Erich Moretz, Phillip and Jacob Lang, Dylan Maki, Tyler Moretz, and Pyper Moretz; great-grandchild, Dylan Jr.; 8 nieces and nephews who were like brothers and a sisters; many in-laws. Sandy is preceded in death by her: husband, Richard; parents, Nels A. and Hannah Gordon; sisters, Doris Hagerud, Mildred (Jean) Staff, Helen Gordon.
