Wayne Keith Duryee

Wayne Keith Duryee, 80 of Osage, IA, died on January 5, 2022 at Faith Lutheran Home in Osage. A Celebration of Wayne’s Life will be held Saturday, January 8, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. at the Columbus Club (KC Hall) in Osage. Wayne was born September 27, 1941, in Leroy, Minnesota to Gernard and Pearl (Backus) Duryee. He married Marian Gauthier in 1961 and to this union they had seven children. Wayne worked on the railroad, White Farm, hobby farmed and Fieldstone cabinets. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, riding motorcycles and snowmobiling. Wayne is survived by Marian Duryee; his children, Mike (Annette) of Cresco, Leslie of Little Cedar, John of Little Cedar, Christine (Brian Huffman) of Little Cedar, Laurie of Cape Coral, Florida and Paul (Terri) of Little Cedar; 13 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren: siblings, Cherie (Greg) Landers of Greene, Leonard (Betty) Duryee of Leland, Barbara Woolworth of Cresco; sisters-in-law, Candy Duryee and Lois Duryee, and numerous nieces & nephews.
