Elinor Sinning

Elinor Sinning, 87, of Rudd, died Friday, September 25, 2020 at the Nora Springs Care Center in Nora Springs. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at Eden Presbyterian Cemetery, Rural Rudd with Pastor Beth Ehlers officiating. Elinor was born on December 10, 1932 in Rudd, Iowa to Edward and Hulda (Ahrens) Brandau, and a lifelong resident of Rudd. On December 20, 1951 Elinor married Norval D Sinning. After marriage she farmed with Norv, enjoyed gardening and preserving, and quilting and crocheting. Elinor enjoyed attending kids and grandchildren's sporting events and other school activities. She liked spending time with her family and playing cards and games. She traveled across the US and had several vacations, Elinor loved her trips she was able to take to Ireland, Australia and Switzerland. Elinor is survived by her: son, Mike (Pat) Sinning and their family, Ryan (Meghan) Sinning and children Savanah and Laney, Corinne (Jerry) Fenton and children Cale and Brett, Jessica Sinning and child Georgia Marsh; son Dan Sinning; daughter, Beth Huston and her family, Troy (Amy) Huston, Toshia (Jake) and child Aria, Trenton, and Taylor, D' Lisa Ware (Aaron) children Shelby, Emma, and Connor, Cassie Huston, and child Chloey Steffens, Ashley Sunner (Adam) and child Max; Daughter Karen Sinning, and son, Kevin (Bernadette) Sinning and their family, Nicole and Kevin N; sister, Lucille Bisbee; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her: parents, Edward and Hulda Brandau; husband, Norval; son-in-law, Randy Huston; great-grandson, Wyatt Sinning; two brothers; two sisters; five sisters-in-law and six brothers-in-law.
