Marlas Ann Harang

Northwood, Iowa - Marlas Ann Harang, 71, of Northwood, died on March 29, 2021 in Mason City, Iowa, from complications of a stroke. A service will be held on April 9, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Schroeder & Sites Funeral Home, Northwood. A visitation will be from 1:00 PM until service time. Marlas (Mickey) was born on August 24, 1949 in Waterloo, Iowa, the daughter of Marion and Lillian Munson. Marlas married Donald Harang on August 19, 2013 in Mitchell, South Dakota. They have been together for 16 years. Marlas loved her cats. She enjoyed going on the Harley with Donnie to Sturgis and other rallies. She also loved to go fishing and spending time with friends and family. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Ronald Munson. Marlas is survived by her loving husband, Donald Harang of Northwood; sister Ginny Thomas of Waterloo, Ia.; three sons, Christopher (Patty) Rigel of Lawler, Ia., Matthew (Deborah) Rigel of Traer, Ia.
